The Wagyu Breeders Association (WBA) launch in and around Tetbury, Glocs on 11-12 November has been well-received with 70 people attending on the Tuesday (our maximum number for the venue), with around 100 joining us for the Wednesday programme. We very much look forward to seeing all those who have registered an interest at the event. There has been a very good response in the agricultural press with representatives from Scottish Farmer, Farmers Weekly, Farmers Guardian & NFU’s British Farmer & Grower having confirmed their attendance at the launch. The new www.britishwagyu.co.uk website has been frequently visited and you are now able to complete an application form for WBA Membership online. There has been first-class support from a number of sponsors: Harbro, Kelvin Cave, Caisley, RAFT solutions, IAE, Grass Science, Semenstore, Taurus Insurance, UK Sire Services will all have representatives at the launch. Their help and financial support has been much appreciated.
